ASPHALT AND MILLINGS
NEW INSTALLATION -
Whether you are looking to install a new asphalt driveway or choose a more affordable option such as millings, you can be certain that we will ensure a solid foundation. With the right equipment and proper grading, leveling and stone compaction, you will have a sturdy stone base foundation with proper water flow.
Once the stone base is installed and tightly compacted, hot asphalt or millings are brought in and applied with a paver. The standard thickness is 3". However, if heavy trucks, campers, boats, machinery etc, will be utilizing the paved area, more than 3" is recommended.
RESURFACING - Surface milling is a process of grinding down an asphalt surface. This is common prep work in the paving process for resurfacing an asphalt driveway or parking lot. Saw cutting is also common when resurfacing an asphalt area. This is done to tie in areas of the existing asphalt with the new asphalt. The standard amount of asphalt used in resurfacing is usually 2" to 2 1/2".
**OUR SERVICES ARE NOT LIMITED TO JUST DRIVEWAYS OR PARKING LOTS**
Do you need an asphalt basketball court? Maybe a tennis court?! Whatever your preference, T&A Paving Inc has you cover
GRAVEL & CRUSHED STONE- Gravel and crushed stone driveways are affordable and relatively simple to maintain. Gravel driveways can be installed in the shortest amount of time with very little impact on the use of your driveway. Gravel driveway installation should be accompanied by meticulous draining planning and an experienced grader operator to minimize the ongoing maintenance as much as possible. Crushed stone or gravel driveway installation is relatively simple. Most of the work is done with grading equipment and front end loaders so it can be completed fairly quickly with little impact on your daily routine. You can also expect to use the driveway throughout the construction.
SEALCOATING- One of the best ways to protect your asphalt surfaces is to have them sealcoated. Sealcoating adds an extra protective layer over the asphalt to prevent damage and help the asphalt last longer. Sealcoating can also keep your asphalt looking black and striking instead of fading with the sun.
LINE STRIPING & STENCILING- Line striping and stenciling help control vehicle and pedestrian traffic while also ensuring maximized parking for tenants, customers, and employees. Arrows, crosswalks, stenciling, and other markings combined with parking stalls create an efficient parking lot and roadway for your property.
Access to your property and compliance with regulations (federal, state, and municipal) is imperative for all facilities. ADA compliance through pavement markings and signage not only ensures avoiding fines and penalties, but also allows easy access for all potential customers, tenants, employees, and guests to your property.
